Job title: Community Support Worker

Hours: 37 hours per week

Locations: Cheshire West, Chester and Ellesmere Port and Neston area

Nugent is pleased to offer the opportunity for individuals to support our new service based on the in Chester and Cheshire West area. The successful candidates will be dedicated to improving the lives of those who have mental health difficulties and achieve job satisfaction by delivering excellent care.

You will empower those we support by building on individuals strengths, interests and assets creating positive opportunities for social inclusion, work through barriers to wellbeing and support with the achievement of personalised aspirations.

The successful candidates will receive introductory training in Cognitive Analytic Therapy to enable you deliver psychologically informed support and respond in helpful ways to people in distress who may have complex needs.

Lichfield Close is a 24 hour supported living property, home to 3 individuals. The support is provided 24/7 and is based in the persons own home, so you must be able to demonstrate Dignity, Privacy & Respect. Experience

At Lichfield our dedicated staff work on a rota basis to support three gentlemen with learning and physical difficulties. The successful candidates will protect their dignity when providing the care they require and ensure that they have life fulfilment.

Please Note: This position is subject to an enhanced DBS check. Applicants will be required to join the DBS update service upon notification of a successful interview. The cost of this will be managed by Nugent.
