Agency Decision Maker- Adoption
Nugent Adoption is a registered and approved Independent Adoption Agency located in the North West of England. Nugent became a Registered Adoption Agency in 1943; therefore, we have been involved in placing children for adoption for 75 years.
We are currently recruiting for: Agency Decision Maker
Hours of work: 10 hours per month (with potential for additional hours if required)

Location of role: Central Office or remote working
As Nugent’s Agency Decision Maker you will provide crucial support to our Adoption Services. The successful candidate will promote children’s welfare, take into account the Panel’s recommendation and ensure that Nugent’s vision is reflected within their duties.
As a qualified Social Worker you will ensure that your knowledge is kept up to date regarding new legislation, case law and policy development. You will consider all information when making a decision regarding potential adoptive parents and/or the placement of a child. You will have at least 10 years’ post qualifying experience and have previously worked within adoption or fostering at a senior level.
We are looking for a flexible and tenacious individual who has a deep understanding for this role. You will have emotional intelligence, dedication and you will promote child welfare and safeguarding procedures.
