Marian House within St Catherine’s Centre- St Helens provides support to teenagers who present challenging behaviour whilst working towards their independence.

Child Care Worker – Marion House (to cover nights)

Hours of work 31.5 per week

Job ref – 7072/STC

Salary of £18,431 (£9.06ph) to £21,693 (£10.66ph) pro rata

 Are you able to manage extremely challenging situations whilst maintaining high levels of empathy and understanding? Do you have the resilience to continually reach out to children and young people who can demonstrate abusive and aggressive behaviour?

 The successful candidate will offer support throughout the night supporting young people as part of two person shift team. You will offer consistency and contribute to daily records.

Diploma Level 3 for the Children and Young People’s Workforce is required (or equivalent) or a willingness to undertake this which is funded via Nugent’s accredited assessment centre.
