Nugent House School caters for pupils between the ages of 7 and 19, who display Behavioural, Emotional and Social Difficulties. Many have additional learning needs and all are subject to a Statement of Special Educational Needs or EHCP.

We are currently recruiting for: Learning Mentors

Location: Billinge, Wigan

Hours of work: 35 hours per week, term time only

We are pleased to advertise this exciting opportunity for a driven and dedicated individual to join our hardworking team at Nugent House School. As a health and Social Care charity we are passionate about providing outstanding care and support and we strive to recruit individuals who share our values.

The successful candidate will hold a Mentoring and Level 3 qualification in Children’s learning and Development (or equivalent). You will be enthusiastic and passionate about providing guidance and intervention to our students.

You will have an understanding of child development, knowledge of safeguarding procedures and experience working with children who have emotional, social and behavioural difficulties.
