Take up an act of Charity for Nugent

Strictly Nugent dancers 2017

Since our beginnings in 1881, Nugent has been at the heart of our community, providing that vital safety net for vulnerable children and adults. But we wouldn’t be where we are today if it wasn’t for the support of our parishes, community groups and supporters.

Here in 2019 things are no different. We continue to provide support and care where local government funding and austerity is impacting most and creating hardship and this means that we rely on the support of our fantastic fundraising volunteers and supporter groups more than ever.

Ways you can get involved

Run, walk, jog, dance, or simply help fill a collection box for us, taking part in an act of charity can be exhilarating and rewarding.

Previous supporters have said:

“It was an experience and a challenge, I enjoyed every minute, but to know I have helped raise vital funds is the best part.” Mike James – Abseil 2016

“This has been one of the best experiences of my life, Knowing that this translates in some small way to helping other people, well, it makes a great experience epic!”  Jane Caven – Strictly Nugent 2018

You too could have your own “epic” experience by signing up to one of our 2019 challenges, including Abseiling from the Anglican Cathedral, or Riding the Lakes, more events will be announced soon, or you could organise your own fundraising event.

If you’ve got a great idea for an event or activity, complete the form below with a brief description and we’ll be in touch to discuss how we can help you get going.
