I’ve been with Nugent since December 2015, having come from working in the Arts in Liverpool for over 25 years.
It’s been a very exciting few years working on the re-brand and developing our profile. I work with some very lovely and dedicated people. Nugent has such an amazing legacy, and although the job is busy, and often challenging, knowing that your work has an impact on people’s lives is certainly a reason to get up in the morning.
My role is all about raising the profile and growing the business, and the main function for my department is to deliver a strategic Communications Strategy to help deliver our ambitious business plan for 2016-2020.
The re-brand project, and working with Studio Mashbo and Bread Media, has been very exciting, having the opportunity to work creatively to redefine the brand, develop a new approach to marketing and building websites, is the fuel that drives me in my job.

Leading on our delivery of our new brand has been a very exciting and rewarding experience. A career highlight. We’ve achieved so much in a short space of time and it’s been so positively received.
One thing nobody knows about Me:
I trained as an actor.
I don’t tend to have heroes, but since I started working at Nugent I have met some incredibly dedicated people working tirelessly supporting people with real problems in their lives, and that inspires me on a daily basis!
